Description
Lightsheet based Macroscope to image full organ and tumors after optical clearing. The system is based on Low/Intermediate magnification Imaging (macroscope) and achieves isotropic detection within a zoom range of 1x-24x. Image tiling working well to generate up to 20x20x3000 images of large organs at higher magnification for single cell detection in organs.
The system offers a unique combination of double illumination ("right" and "left" lightsheets) and double sided detection (2 macroscopes and cameras face-to-face), for deeper imaging.
Currently compatible with the any clearing techniques, as it corrects for any refractive index. Those include the following (tested in the lab since 2011): Dehydration + BABB, Dehydration + DBE, iDisco, 3Disco, CUBIC (several variations), Rapiclear, ECI and ECI2, DeepCLEAR, CLARITY, SeeDB, and more.
