The confocal light source consists on the following lasers: Diode 405, Argon (458, 488, 514), DPSS 561, HeNe 633.
There are 3 dry objectives: 5x, 10x, 20x; and 2 oil immersion objectives: 40x y 63x. The maximum of resolution with the 63x objective is 200nm in xy plane, and 500nm in z dimension.
Fluorescence lamp Leica EL6000 (OSRAM HXP-R120W/45C VIS) to see from ocular lens.
Microscope techniques: bright field (BF), polarization (POL), differential interference contrast (DIC) and fluorescence (FLUO). These techniques can be combined at the same image.
The software is called LAS X and allows to recover images 2D and 3D, spectral image, temporal image, and the combination of those.

Accessories:
CCD Microscope Camera DFC7000 T to capture the images we see from the ocular lens. The camera allows to combine several techniques (FLUO, DIC, etc.) and make a video with sequentially taken images.
CO2 Microscope Cage Incubation System (okolab), to control the ‘in vivo’ conditions (temperature, CO2, O2) at the sample.
